Make your own fabreeze

What you'll need:
1/8 Cup of fabric softener ( April Fresh is nice)
2 tablespoons Baking Soda
Hot tap water
Spray bottle (used an empty 27 oz. Febreze bottle)

Using a funnel, pour fabric softener and baking soda into your spray bottle. Fill spray bottle with hot tap water and shake well. Don't forget to twist the nozzle over to the LOCK position if you're using a Febreeze bottle

Homemade Febreeze costs about $0.15 from

They then posted this one in it's place

Homemade Air Freshener

Distilled water
1 Tbs. Baking soda
2-3 drops of your favorite essential oil (optional)

1. Pour the baking soda into a small dish and add the drops of essential oils (if adding).  Mix well with a spoon.
2. Pour baking soda into the empty spray bottle and fill it to the top with water.  Shake well to mix the baking soda and water. You can use this to freshen the air in a room. You can also use it on carpets, couches, shoes, etc.
