The great thing is it grows wild and the seeds can be eaten and taste like coconut. Grows in Michigan, Massachusettes, Texas, California and southwestern US. To name a few places it is found.
Devils Claw Pain Relief Cream
Devils Claw (Grapple Plant) also known as Leopards or Wolfs Bane. It is used in most over the counter pain rubs. Use salve as a relief for headaches and for use with general nerve type pain, sores, ulcers and boils . It soothes and heals bruises, sprains and relieves irritations from trauma, arthritis and muscle pain, all forms of Arthritis ( Rheumatoid or Osteo).
1 tablespoon devils claw infused oil
1/4 cup Coconut oil
1 tsp Vtamin E
20 drops peppermint essential oil
Melt the coconut oil. You can do this in the microwave. once liquid add the vitamin E the devils claw and the peppermint and mix well. pour into a salve jar and allow to set.
Devils Claw Pain Relief Cream # 2
Works the same but with the added heat which also relieves muscle pain.
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/8 cup shea butter
2 tablespoons devil claw powder
2 tablespoons olive oil or sweet almond oil
1 teaspoon cayenne powder
Mix the olive oil, cheyenne and devils claw and heat through. Mix well. add the coconut oil and shea butter and mic until liquid, making sure the powder blends throughout the oils. Mix well and pour into a salve jar and allow to cool completely.
