Easy Scrubs

Ginger Body Scrub

Use this one in the morning as the essential oils are invigorating, and will help your immune system hold of attacks all day!

Sea Salt 1/4 Cup
Cornmeal 1/4 Cup
Olive Oil 1/3 Cup or another base oil.
Ginger 3 drops
Peppermint 4 drops
Rosemary 3 drops

Mix salt and cornmeal. Combine warmed oil and essential oils then mix with dry ingredients. Use in the shower or standing in the tub. Apply in circular motions, working from the extremities inward, working towards the center of the body and the heart. Rinse with warm water. Gently pat dry. Your skin will feel smoother and have a nice glow.

Peppermint Foot Scrub

Sore, tired feet from all the shopping?

•4 tablespoons table salt
•2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
•8 drops peppermint oil

Using circular motion, massage onto dry feet. Rinse well.

Foot Scrub

Dead sea salt and melaleuca oil both contain anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties to eliminate food odor and kill athlete's foot fungus. Peppermint extract increases circulation to the foot, leaving them feeling refreshed and less tired.

1/8 cup apricot kernel meal
1/8 cup castille soap
4 Tbls dead sea salt
4 Tbls cup Epsom salt
1 Tbls tea tree (meleleuca) oil
8 drops peppermint essential oil

Soak or wet feet and massage one or two tablespoons of this mixture onto feet several times per week. Massage each foot for several minutes, especially over roughened heels or calluses. Using this mixture regularly will slough dead skin and calluses.
