Medicine chest ~ working with oils

Fight Fustration Oil

Roman Chamomile – 5 drops
Bergamot – 5 drops
Lavender – 5 drops
Peppermint – 2 drops

Blend the above essential oils in a glass bottle. Use several drops in any aromatherapy diffuser. Ideally if you are dealing with frustration that last hours, apply to a necklace or aromatherapy bracelet and inhale often.

Hemorrhoid Oil

Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and take Vitamin E supplements.

Patchouli 2 drops
Geranium 2 drops
Peppermint 2 drops

Dilute in 2 tablespoons wheatgerm oil or 1 ounce KY jelly and apply several times a day.

Influzena oil

This treatment will usually lessen the severity of the attack, and in some cases it clears up the symptoms overnight. The Lavender is being pushed into the body by the heat of the bathwater, where it will begin to kill the invading organisms, and at the same time to boost the immune system to produce more antibodies and white blood cells. Several other essential oils will fight a cold virus, and these are Sandalwood, Tea Tree and Lemon. Either singly or in combination, these essences should be employed in a night-time bath.

15 drops Lavender
10 ml Massage Oil

Fill a bath with comfortably hot water. Use the above mixture and rub the mixture into your body, paying particular attention to the chest area and back of the neck, then jump into the bath and soak for about 10 minutes or so. Dry quickly and go straight to bed.

Cold sore Treatment #1

Practitioners of Aromatherpay recommend several different essential oils for the treatment of cold sores. Some suggest using the treatment once in the morning and again in the evening, while others recommend repeating the treatment every few hours.

Using a cotton ball, apply the following oil mixture directly onto a cold sore as soon as it is suspected:
  • 5 drops Geranium oil
  • 5 drops Tea Tree oil
  • 1 tablespoons of your choice Carrier Oil
Blend well
