Medicine cabnet ~ Acne relief~

Acne Orange Mint Soap

Great for oily skin or minor acne
breakouts. (Teenagers love it and it smells
great too!)


16 oz clear melt & pour soap
1 teaspoon sweet orange oil
1 teaspoon dried crushed peppermint leaves
1 teaspoon ground orange peel
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
5 drops orange soap color
or 3 drops red and 2 drops yellow food color

Melt soap base in microwave on medium for 2 minutes
or stovetop method in double-boiler.
Add all ingredients stirring until smooth.
Pour into olive oil coated molds or small
loaf pan. Let harden completely and slice or
remove from mold. Let air dry 24 hours before
packaging.

Acne Lotion

2 teaspoons cider vinegar
1 drop frankincense essential oil
2 drops lavender essential oil
1 drop myrtle essential oil
1/2 cup distilled water


Funnel the cider vinegar into a dark gloss bottle, then add the essential oils and shake well to disperse the oil. Top off with distilled water and shake again. Remember to shake each time before use. Apply with damp cotton pads.

Rose & Lemon Water

1 teaspoon of Rose water (can be purchased at health food stores)
1 teaspoon of fresh Lemon Juice

Crush 2-3 garlic cloves and apply it directly to affected area

Basil Water

2-3 teaspoons of Dried Basil Leaves
1 cup Boiling Water

Boil basil leaves in water. Allow to cool and apply with cotton balls.

Baking Soda Mask

Equal parts baking soda and water. (Amount depends on how much mask you want to make.)

Some Simple Homemade Remedies Using Aloe Vera:

Acne Treatment - Rub the gel on the affected area twice a day. Your acne will improve within one week.

Body Rub - Cut open an aloe leaf, remove the gel out and rub it all over your body. Rinse off the gel after twenty minutes and feel the difference.

Cold Sores - Apply aloe vera to cold sores twice daily. The symptoms will be resolved within one day and cured within one week.

Diaper Rash - After a warm bath, massage the affected areas with aloe vera gel. You will see results within three days.
